OUR ADVANCED BEGINNER UKULELE COURSE
Building on from our foundation course, this follow on 4 week Advanced Beginner Ukulele Course is all about getting you in the groove with strumming and finger picking techniques to really make your music rock!
PREREQUISITES?
Our Advanced Beginner Ukulele Course is an intensive 4 week program designed for those who have gained an understanding of the foundation skills but wish to expand their skill base and develop their strumming techniques with greater mastery.
It is critical that you have completed a foundation level beginner course such as our 4 week intensive Beginner Ukulele Course or have equivalent training or playing experience to join this course.
You do not need to be able to read music to attend this course. You will learn a little bit of music theory on this course which will be assumed knowledge for higher level courses.
WHAT'S COVERED?
The focus of this course will be on learning:

A range of new strumming patterns to add to your rhythmic toolkit from different musical genres including rock, pop, calypso and reggae

How to add interesting sound effects to your strumming including slap and chunking techniques

A variety of finger picking techniques for 3, 4 and 6 beat music

How to strum and sing at the same time!
You will learn a fantastic repertoire of songs from different musical genres
COURSE FEES?
The 4 week Beginner Course fee is $220.
This cost includes 4 x 2 hour lessons plus all course materials including a Course Workbook.
There are no refunds or makeup classes for missed lessons. If there are exceptional circumstances whereby a participant is unable to attend the course for any reason, this situation can be discussed with the teacher and arrangements agreed upon.
Once a course has started, you are not entitled to a refund simply because you changed your mind. If you postpone your enrolment to a future course within 5 days of the start date, or after you have commenced a course, you will incur a $20 administration fee.

Our Advanved Beginner Course will be held from on Saturdays at the following venues across the Northern Beaches in 2023:

Please note: This course requires at least 10 students to run. In the unlikely event that the course is cancelled, we'll issue you with a full refund.
